Louise is a singer-songwriter, musician, and creative leader working internationally across performance, recording, and collaboration. She brings a clear understanding of how songs are made and, through her own firsthand knowledge, is finely attuned to how vulnerability and momentum are both protected and sustained. Her experience across both structured industry systems and independent artistic life gives her a nuanced sense of what supports artists in doing their best work, and how restraint, care, and intention can be just as powerful as resources. She brings artists together around the song, guided by a strong curatorial instinct and a clear sense of what belongs.
A graduate of the Blackbird Academy in Nashville, Louise trained in the craft of making records, audio engineering, recording techniques, and critical listening. She produced a Grammy-nominated album and approaches each project as an opportunity to explore new ways of working. Her hands-on involvement in recording, performance, and collaboration informs the Foundation’s gatherings, which are known for being immersive and focused. Louise favors momentum over second-guessing, shaping spaces where decisions stay active and clear. The work is shaped by participation rather than hierarchy, and by a belief that songwriting communities thrive when artists stay present with one another and the process.
